Dating should feel exciting, not unsafe.
Keep early conversations on the platform
Scammers often try to move conversations elsewhere quickly. Be cautious if someone immediately pushes for another messaging app, asks for money, promotes an investment or gives a story that creates financial urgency.
Meeting in person
- Choose a public place for early dates.
- Tell a trusted person where you are going.
- Arrange your own transport where possible.
- Do not feel pressured to disclose your home address.
- Leave if the situation feels unsafe.
Report, block and unmatch
Every matched conversation includes report and block controls. Blocking ends the conversation. Reports enter the administration safety queue for review.
Community standards
- No minors or photos featuring children.
- No harassment, threats, hate or intimidation.
- No impersonation, romance scams, investment scams or requests for money.
- No non-consensual intimate imagery or illegal sexual content.
- No attempts to evade moderation or repeatedly contact someone after they block or unmatch.
